"You ain't in Kansas Anymore, Dorothy."

 

Those were the words told to me by my seatmate aboard the flight my first time to Saipan. It pretty well sums it up.  

 

It is essentially a foreign country of Pacific Islanders and a collection of colorful and varied cultures from Micronesia and Asia, overlaid with the protective blanket of being a US Territory.

 

Strange?  Definitely.  

Fascinating?  Absolutely!
